Brady Beauchamp


Brady received a BS in Economics from the US Naval Academy where he continues to serve as the 2007 Class President. He has completed non-degree coursework at the US Naval War College, London School of Economics, and Harvard Business School.

Brady Beauchamp joined NextWave Ventures as Principal and Chief Operations Officer in 2015. Most recently, Brady was an Associate at Goldman Sachs, where he performed acquisition, disposition, due diligence, and asset management functions for a $1.7bn, 152 asset lodging portfolio. Previously, Brady was a warfare qualified submarine pilot stationed onboard USS Jimmy Carter where he acted as the Commanding Officer’s principal logistics and finance advisor. Brady is an advocate for the share economy and owns a portfolio of cars which he rents out through the peer-to-peer car sharing company, Getaround (2011 Tech Crunch Winner).

At NextWave, Brady concentrates on identifying and analyzing investment proposals, conducting financial and business due diligence, and supporting portfolio company operations on a day-to-day basis.

What’s the best advice you have ever received?

On the day I left the foothills of Lake Tahoe to join the Navy my uncle said “Life is the sum total of your experiences…now go get some”. Since that moment I’ve been to over 25 foreign countries, led incredibly great teams, and worked with some of the most brilliant minds in both finance and operations.
